Mobilizing Mentors & Emerging Leaders. Transforming Lives. Advancing the Kingdom.

Mentor Corps is a national movement dedicated to equipping mentors and developing young leaders through Christ‑centered mentorship. We exist because every person needs guidance, and every emerging leader needs formation. Moreover, no one is meant to grow alone.

Our mission is simple: to help emerging leaders discover their identity, strengthen their faith, and step boldly into the purpose God designed for them.

From a Personal Passion to a National Movement

Mentor Corps began with a straightforward conviction: mentorship changes lives. Mentor Corps a 501c3 was founded in 2008 by Jim Hale. The heart of Mentor Corps’ vision was to provide teaching, tools, and guidance to help individuals grow in their walk with Jesus Christ leading to maturity, wisdom and life transformation. The early seeds were planted, and the vision was clear. Even so, God was preparing something much larger.

As culture shifted, the challenges facing young adults intensified. Identity confusion, anxiety, isolation, and spiritual drift became common struggles. Churches and communities felt the strain. It became clear that the next generation didn’t simply need more information. They needed formation.

And that realization brought Mentor Corps’ new President and Movement Builder, Brad Dale, to grow from its roots — and personal story of formation.

Our President’s Journey of Redemption

How God Used Mentors to Transform a Life

Mentor Corps’ relaunch is deeply connected to the personal journey of Brad Dale. Brad grew up on a small family farm in South Dakota, surrounded by love, faith, and hard work. His early years were shaped by a strong family and a father who led him to Christ at age seven.

However, everything changed when his father’s unresolved wounds and painful decisions led to the loss of their farm, their reputation, and the life Brad once knew. At eighteen, Brad carried the weight of shame, fear, and a shattered identity.

In his twenties, that pain led to isolation, control, and a failed marriage. Yet God intervened. Through a series of mentors — including the influence of Stephen Covey’s writing, and the personal guidance of Calvin Lindstrom, Todd Duncan and Daniel Harkavy and others — Brad experienced healing, discipleship, and a renewed sense of purpose.

These mentors helped him rebuild his identity, rediscover his calling, and step into the man God created him to be.

Brad’s transformation didn’t happen alone.
It happened through mentorship.
It happened through discipleship.
It happened through people who walked with him.

This is the heartbeat of Mentor Corps today.

Our Renewed Vision

Meeting Today’s Urgent Need for Mentorship

The world has changed. The needs of young adults have changed. And the Church’s opportunity to shape the next generation has never been greater.

Today’s emerging leaders face:

  • identity confusion
  • anxiety and depression
  • spiritual drift
  • lack of purpose
  • fatherlessness
  • fear of failure
  • overwhelming cultural pressure

They don’t need more content.
They need guides.
They need spiritual mothers and fathers.
They need mentors who walk with them in real life.

This is why Mentor Corps relaunched with a bold, national vision:

To equip 100,000 leaders — locally, nationally, and globally — through Christ‑centered mentorship.

We believe mentorship is not optional.
It is essential.
It is biblical.
It is transformational.

What We Do

Mentorship That Builds Identity, Purpose, and Leadership

Mentor Corps partners with churches, businesses, and nonprofits to create a scalable, sustainable mentorship ecosystem. We provide:

  • Mentor training and certification
  • Mentee development pathways
  • Faith‑based curriculum and tools
  • Digital platforms for connection and growth
  • Leadership coaching and support
  • Community‑wide mentorship initiatives

Our approach is relational, practical, and deeply rooted in Scripture. We help mentors walk with young adults through real‑life challenges while pointing them toward Jesus, identity, purpose, and vision.

Why Mentorship Matters

The Great Commission Is a Mentoring Mandate

Mentorship is not a modern idea. It is woven throughout Scripture:

  • Moses mentored Joshua
  • Elijah mentored Elisha
  • Naomi mentored Ruth
  • Paul mentored Timothy
  • Jesus mentored the Twelve

The Great Commission — “Go and make disciples” — is a call to relational discipleship, not passive attendance. Mentorship is one of the most effective ways to fulfill that calling today.

When mentors invest in young leaders, transformation multiplies.
When churches mobilize mentors, communities change.
When leaders discover their identity in Christ, everything shifts.

Our Commitment to the Church

Strengthening Churches Through Mentorship

Mentor Corps exists to serve the Church — not replace it. We help churches:

  • mobilize mentors
  • disciple young adults
  • develop future leaders
  • strengthen families
  • expand community impact
  • fulfill the Great Commission

We believe every church can become a hub of mentorship and leadership development. And we are committed to providing the tools, training, and support to make that possible.
